Choosing a Location

The Annapolis Valley offers many great locations for portraits, including beaches, forests, fields, gardens, and urban settings. I have several locations I can recommend, or we can choose a place that has special meaning to you.

Clothing

Choose clothing that reflects your personality and that you feel comfortable wearing. Layers, texture, and simple colours photograph well. You are welcome to bring a couple of outfit options.

Graduates should bring their cap and gown. Personal items such as musical instruments, sports equipment, vehicles, or other meaningful items are also welcome.

The Day of Your Session

Sessions are generally scheduled during the two hours before sunset when the light is at its best. Once we get started, I’ll guide you through the process and help create a variety of photographs.

Gallery Delivery

Within approximately two weeks, you will receive a private online gallery containing your final edited images. Your gallery allows you to download your high-resolution files and order additional prints, canvas, or albums if desired.
